The cot's slide-away side panel raises and lowers at the push of an button, making it easy to reach in and soothe a crying infant at night. It also has 11 height adjustments that let it fit on the mattress of almost any size bed. It also has adjustable folding feet to make sure that it is at the right height.
In terms of safety the cot is padded and has mesh sides for increased ventilation, and its mattress is made from high-density foam for extra protection. It is also wipeable, so you can keep the crib clean. It comes with a fitted mattress sheet that is suitable for the crib.
The Roomie Glide, unlike some other bedside cribs is compatible with all beds including divans. This is thanks to the straps and clips which connect to it. It can be used as a stand-alone crib when it is not attached to the bed. It is packed with incredible features that were that were designed with baby and parent bonding in mind.
One thing to bear in mind is that while this crib is ideal for infants, it will not last long after your little one turns six months old, so you will require an additional cot. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she was particularly impressed by its elegant design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was an affordable price for a cot with the most innovative features. She also liked how it looked in the bedroom and thought that its grey colour would suit most modern homes. She did mention that it's not a good idea to rock a baby younger because it can create an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure the best sleep possible. It features an adjustable side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child at night without disturbing them or forcing them out of the bed. This is ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or when traveling.
We love that it's constructed of soft fabrics with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and ease of use. It's available in charcoal and oak, with a range of melange fabric options that are compatible with all decor styles. Anna discovered that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secured for security. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number in case you experience any issues.
The CoZee crib has all the features you would expect from a crib for your bedside, including the ability to attach it to your bed using a stay-in place connection system. This is one of Chicco's more expensive options. It does have numerous excellent features. It's designed to function as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and legs that retract to place under any bed.
Our testers loved the easy access the side panel provides that can be lowered and raised with just one push of one button. bedside crib or cot was an enormous help in feedings at night, as it meant they could reach into and pick up their baby without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel itself but this is not advised, as it increases the risk that your child could be thrown out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent feedings at night.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed that includes divan bases as well as beds with drawers thanks to the legs that telescopic. The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice for a crib that grows with your child. It's a sleeper crib that can be attached securely to your bed and can be turned into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and strengthening the bond between you and your newborn.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other models. Its dual-view mesh sides and airflow mattress that is breathable and hypoallergenic maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The kit for conversion to cot is also well-designed with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us around an hour to assemble and was reasonably straightforward. However, overall it was a simple process and the quality of materials used was high.
